Gold Hammer is a pain in the arse to get!!! You sit in your house at 9:30 at night and start pounding the ground until it levels up....it sucks!

XD They make it easier to do in other versions, though. I have the Harvest Moon DS game, and you just have to use it enough and then find the gold ore to level it up.

O.o What versions have you played?

I've played the N64 version, Save the Homeland, and A Wonderful Life (special edition). I really want a gamecube so that I can get "Magical Melody" of whatever it is called. So far, N64 version is my favorite. I hate Save the Homeland...love the graphics, but I hate how you can't marry anyone.

N64 is definately the best one, by far.

The ones I'm thinking about, with the ore and the upgradable hammer, are all the gameboy editions, I think. Havest Moon DS, the two that came out for Game Boy advanced... I think (i could be wrong) that any game that has a mine you can do it that way. If they don't have a mine where you can get ore, it's not really possible.

The Gamecube one, "Magical Melody" has ores too, I think?

And yeah, I don't like Save the Homeland at all. :/ I find the ones on playstation aren't very good...
